Jersey City, NJ
Fourth Year, Fashion Design Major / Knitwear Specialization

Boram was initially trained in sculpture, but she soon discovered a love for fashion design. Boram aspires to be a knitwear designer and will be working this summer as an intern for a famous U.S. fashion designer, where she hopes to gain valuable design experience. She has flourished in her courses at FIT and was recently made a Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) award finalist. In addition to her artistic expertise, Boram also enjoys helping others through community service. When living in Korea, she helped design wall murals for orphans to help lift their spirits and give them a more aesthetically-pleasing living environment. She is excited to participate as a designer in the Addressing Psoriasis™ Fashion Show, because she loves making clothes and helping others. Boram says, "I am a person who enjoys creating beauty through my clothing designs. I want to help one of the winners with this disease to have the utmost confidence in his or her look."
