Stacy aspires to be a fashion designer with her own clothing label because she knows the great feeling that comes along with wearing a stylish outfit that you love. Stacy doesn’t want to be just any type of designer though; she is an avid supporter of environmental rights and sustainability and hopes to build a label that uses eco-friendly fabrics for its designs. In fact, this past year, Stacy won first place in the Third Annual Project Earth Day Student Competition sponsored by the Emerging Green Builders. She also was named a semi-finalist in an eco-friendly contest for a garment she created out of reusable shopping bags. Stacy is thrilled to be designing for the Addressing Psoriasis™ Fashion Show. "Not only is this an opportunity for me to be involved in spreading awareness to the public, it’s also a way for me to help make someone who suffers from this chronic disease feel comfortable in their clothing and feel confident too," she says.
